Description
The MS-TS500-2 is an advanced AC power management system featuring both grid-tied and off-grid capabilities with a built-in energy management system. This sophisticated system allows for seamless switching between on-grid and off-grid modes, ensuring continuous power supply under various conditions.
Key Features
- Hybrid Power Management: Automatically switches between on-grid, off-grid, and on/off-grid switching modes
- Intelligent Energy Storage Integration: Works with ESS (Energy Storage Systems) to optimize power usage
- Generator Control: Manages generator operation based on ESS state of charge (SOC)
- Remote Monitoring: Includes comprehensive monitoring and control capabilities
Operation Modes
On-Grid Mode: When utility power is available, the system operates connected to the grid, utilizing grid power as the primary source.
Off-Grid Mode: During grid failures, the system automatically transitions to off-grid operation. When the state of charge (SOC) of the connected energy storage system falls below the configured threshold, the system can:
- Initiate generator startup
- Direct generator power to loads
- Use surplus generator power to charge the ESS
Recovery: Once the grid recovers, the inverter automatically switches back to on-grid mode, ensuring seamless power transition.
Applications
- Commercial and industrial backup power solutions
- Microgrids with multiple power sources
- Remote locations with intermittent grid access
- Facilities requiring power redundancy
- Solar PV integration for maximizing renewable energy usage
The MS-TS500-2 provides a comprehensive solution for managing multiple AC power sources, ensuring reliable power delivery while optimizing energy usage between the grid, storage systems, and generators.
