Deye Launches New-Gen C&I ESS Solutions, Building a Comprehensive Smart Energy Service Ecosystem

In the summer of 2026,amid the continued acceleration of the global energy transition and the growing demand for advanced energy management among commercial and industrial users, Deye held the launch event for its next-generation C&I energy storage solutions. The company officially introduced two new products designed for different application scenarios—the ORION W Series for indoor deployment and the ORION E Series for outdoor applications. At the same time, Deye showcased the Deye Cloud intelligent energy management platform and its global partner system, further enhancing its integrated solution capability covering product delivery and full lifecycle operations.

ORION W: Designed for Fast Deployment and Efficient O&M

The ORION W Series adopts a modular stacked architecture, offering a single-cluster capacity ranging from 60kWh to 192kWh, with support for up to 16 clusters in parallel, enabling flexible scalability for diverse C&I project requirements.

Compared with conventional energy storage systems, one of the key advantages of ORION W lies in its simplified installation and deployment process. With a cabinet-free and external cable-free design, electrical connections are completed through simple module stacking, significantly reducing on-site wiring and installation complexity. Depending on project configuration, the full system can be deployed in as fast as approximately 35 minutes, providing greater flexibility for project construction and future expansion.

In terms of performance, ORION W delivers enhanced continuous power output capability, enabling higher power utilization under the same capacity conditions and improving overall system efficiency. It is also equipped with Deye’s newly developed 3.0 dual-layer active balancing technology, enabling coordinated cell-level and pack-level management. This helps automatically correct cell inconsistencies during long-term operation, reducing the need for manual maintenance.

To address challenging industrial environments such as dust and high temperatures, ORION W features an efficient air filtration system and an independent cell cooling duct design. These measures effectively reduce dust ingress risk and maintain minimal cell temperature deviation, ensuring stable long-term operation.

ORION E: High Energy Density with Enhanced System Safety

For outdoor C&I energy storage applications, Deye also launched the ORION E Series battery cabinet, including GE-F128 and GE-F256 models.

A key design focus of ORION E is achieving higher energy capacity within limited installation space. Through structural optimization and system integration upgrades, the product significantly increases energy density while maintaining a compact footprint, enabling higher usable energy capacity and improved project return on investment for C&I users.

In terms of safety, ORION E adopts a multi-layer protection design covering early warning monitoring, electrical isolation, active exhaust, pressure relief, fire suppression, and thermal runaway mitigation. The system continuously monitors operating conditions via smoke, temperature, and combustible gas sensors, and integrates active exhaust and cabinet-level fire interface designs to ensure comprehensive operational protection.

To ensure long-term performance stability, the system utilizes a three-level airflow structure and intelligent fan control strategy to optimize internal temperature distribution and reduce uneven battery aging. In addition, the system supports rapid installation and later-stage expansion, allowing scalable deployment based on evolving energy demand across factories, industrial parks, agricultural facilities, and remote areas.
