On June 23, the opening day of The smarter E Europe 2026, Deye received several important product certifications from TÜV Rheinland, an internationally recognized provider of independent testing, inspection and certification services.
The certifications cover three major areas of Deye’s solar and energy storage portfolio. The 100–125 kW commercial and industrial three-phase high-voltage hybrid inverter received EN 50549-2 certification. The new SG06 Series 3–6 kW residential single-phase low-voltage hybrid inverter received German certification. Deye’s 5 MWh utility-scale liquid-cooled energy storage solution also secured TÜV Mark and CE-LVD certifications.
The certificate presentation ceremony was attended by Mr. Ji Dehai, Vice General Manager of Ningbo Deye Technology Corporation and R&D Director of Deye Inverter; Mr. Luxin Liu, General Manager of Ningbo Deye ESS Technology Co., Ltd.; and Mr. Weichun Li, Senior Vice President of Solar and Commercial Products for Greater China and Senior Vice President of Global Power Electronics Products at TÜV Rheinland Group.
These certifications represent an important step in Deye’s European compliance strategy. They provide an additional technical foundation for bringing Deye’s residential, commercial and utility-scale products to international markets and supporting their deployment in a wider range of energy projects.
As the global energy transition accelerates, product safety, electrical reliability and grid compliance are becoming increasingly important. The certified Deye products cover distributed residential applications, commercial and industrial projects, and large centralized energy storage systems:
- 100–125 kW C&I three-phase hybrid inverters: Designed for demanding commercial and industrial applications, this inverter series combines modular scalability with grid-support capabilities. It can help businesses integrate solar power and battery storage while improving resilience during grid disturbances. EN 50549-2 certification confirms that the inverter has been evaluated against relevant requirements for grid connection, electrical safety and stable operation on European distribution networks. More application information is available through Deye’s C&I energy storage solutions.
- 3–6 kW residential single-phase hybrid inverters: The SG06 Series uses a compact, high-power-density design intended for homes where installation space may be limited. The inverter coordinates solar generation, battery charging, household consumption and grid interaction within one residential energy system. Receiving German certification supports the series’ entry into the German and wider European markets and gives installers and homeowners additional assurance regarding quality and compliance. Deye’s complete household applications can be explored through its residential energy storage solutions.

- 5 MWh utility-scale liquid-cooled energy storage solution: This solution is designed for grid-side storage, large renewable-energy projects and frequency-regulation applications. It combines a high-energy-density battery system with liquid-cooling thermal management and an intelligent energy management system. Liquid cooling helps control temperature differences within the battery system, while the EMS coordinates charging, discharging and system operation. Together, these technologies support system efficiency and stable operation throughout the project lifecycle.
The TÜV Mark and CE-LVD certifications provide independent confirmation that the 5 MWh solution has been assessed in areas including product safety, electrical reliability, system integration and applicable European regulatory requirements. These certifications support the solution’s continued introduction into European and other international utility-scale storage markets. More information about large-scale applications is available from Deye’s utility-scale energy storage solutions.

TÜV Rheinland certification represents more than an evaluation of individual product features. It also reflects the effectiveness of product development, testing, quality management and regulatory compliance processes. As international energy storage markets introduce more detailed technical requirements, cooperation with independent certification organizations can help manufacturers prepare products for different grid codes and market-entry procedures.

Looking ahead, Deye will continue working with TÜV Rheinland in areas including product certification, technical standards and grid compliance. Through ongoing investment in photovoltaic and energy storage technologies, Deye aims to provide European households, businesses and project developers with safer, more efficient and more reliable energy solutions.
